Flop | Scattered Ball Lines | Quadrants
Short Game

Flop | Scattered Ball Lines | Quadrants

35 min

Scatter a bucket of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) into 8 equal lines of 5 balls and stop flop shots inside quadrants. Count the number of successes.

  • How to practice? For the bucket of 40 balls, randomly scatter 8 equal lines of 5 golf balls [balls 1 y/m apart] on any grass, any slope, anywhere between 5 y/m and 40 y/m from the hole (not the green). On the green, use string lines or tees to form 4 quadrants in [10 ft | 3 m radius] circle. Hit (flop shot) all 5 balls in the line to the same randomly selected quadrant, then randomly jump to the next ball line and hit 5 balls to a different quadrant. Count the number of successful stops.
  • Hit two buckets in total.
